Meet The People Taking Action Now

Sustineo delivers real, tangible outcomes. Most of our low-carbon projects are custom-made, but here are some examples of how we have helped people and companies to make a difference:

Life Cycle Assessment
Evaluation of a Construction Project in Ireland

The Natural Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (NEES) project was funded by the Northern Periphery Programme 2007-2013. As part of the project, a demonstration project was being used to test six of the ‘NEES best practices’. Here’s what happened.

Competitive Advantage and Brand Enhancement
Electric Vehicle Project

eircom and Topaz collaborated on an innovative pilot project entitled ‘Integrating Electric Vehicles into a Commercial Fleet’. eircom operates Ireland’s largest transport fleet and Topaz was Ireland’s biggest distributor of fuels. Sustineo acted as consultant and project manager to both partners. Read about it here.

Building Partnerships
Research and Development Project

InterXion operates cloud- and carrier-neutral colocation data centre services throughout Europe. When they wanted to develop an R&D programme, Sustineo helped to select a university partner and to define the project, which aimed to improve the energy efficiency of data centres in Dublin. Here’s how we got on.

Innovation
Renewable Energy Project

Sustineo developed the business plan for Compost Heating Systems Ltd, a renewable energy start-up that has expertise in harvesting heat from composting waste. We helped to secure grant funding from Enterprise Ireland and is now directly involved in managing the R&D phase. This is what we did.

Business Development
Market Research Project

EC Charging is the first Irish company to have developed an on-street charge point for electric vehicles. With unique expertise in the electric vehicle industry in Ireland, Sustineo was commissioned to complete a market research study. Here’s how it turned out.
